EBARA Group invests 500 million yuan to develop high-power LEDs in Qingdao

Ningbo Liaoyuan Industrial Group and Qingdao High-tech Zone held the signing ceremony of “High-power LED Lighting System R&D and Industrial Base Project”.

It is understood that Ningbo Liaoyuan Industrial Group is a state-level high-tech enterprise and is currently the largest outdoor lighting and special steel manufacturer in China. The total investment of the project is 500 million yuan. It mainly builds LED packaging production line, driver production line, optical lens production line and LED lamp production line. It will start construction in the first quarter of 2010. After the completion of the project, it is estimated that the annual sales income will be more than 2 billion yuan, and the profits and taxes will be more than 400 million yuan.

The signing of this project is another major achievement of Qingdao High-tech Zone in the LED industry chain investment after the LED sapphire substrate chip project is settled.
