Our company was established in 1996 (Yantai Ebara Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd.) as Ebara major production base of cooling & heating products.

In 2017, the company name was changed to Ebara Refrigeration Equipment & Systems (China) Co., Ltd. which was owned 100% by Ebara Corporation (Japan) and Ebara Refrigeration Equipment & Systems Co., Ltd. (Japan).

Our products, technologies, research & development, management and quality control are synchronized with the Japanese Headquarters.

Our market share of absorption chillers in China has been in the first place since 2012, while China has the world's largest demand for such products.

Our products have been exported to Japan and other countries.

Our products are widely used in the following industries such as petrochemical, coal chemical, thermal power, steel, coking, chemical fiber, as well as public building air conditioning.

1996: Yantai Ebara Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded

2002: Ebara Cooling & Heating Business Division was separated from Ebara Corporation and Ebara Refrigeration Equipment & Systems Co., Ltd. was established as an integrated business system for manufacturing, sales, and services.

2004: Produced the world's highest ultra-efficient steam driven absorption chillers

2005: Produced the world's highest ultra-efficient direct fired absorption chillers

2006: The RTCF 3 stage compression centrifugal chiller using the new refrigerant was successfully developed

2009: The RTVF ultra-efficient centrifugal chiller using the new refrigerant was successfully developed, with a COP of up to 7.9

2011: Produced the world's largest absorption Heat Pump unit (35MW/Unit)

2014: Produced the world's largest absorption heat pump unit (60.2MW/Unit)

2017: Changed the name of Yantai Ebara Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. to Ebara Refrigeration Equipment & Systems (China) Co., Ltd.

2018: Developed large temperature difference Hot Water Absorption Chiller

2020: Developed the low temperature refrigeration unit with the combination of absorption and centrifugal chillers

2021: Launched super-high temperature centrifugal heat pump

  • Ebara High Efficiency Centrifugal Heat Pumps Serve Beijing Daxing International Airport

    The HVAC&R system of Beijing Daxing International Airport is the largest ground source heat pump system project in China. It can heat and cool 2.5 million square meters of the public area in Daxing airport. Six centrifugal heat pumps provided by Ebara which adopted 10KV high-voltage frequency conversion energy-saving technology are used in the No. 2 energy center. The cooling capacity of single unit is 6.1MW and the heating capacity is 7.1MW. It is providing cooling, heating and ice storage to the airport at different seasons.
